The Sudfunk Symphony Orchestra, also known as the SWR Symphony Orchestra, is a renowned classical music ensemble based in Stuttgart, Germany. The orchestra was founded in 1946 as part of the Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR), a public broadcasting corporation in Germany. The founding conductor of the orchestra was Hans Müller-Kray, who led the ensemble until 1951.
