Laure Colladant is a French classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a talented cellist and chamber musician. Born in Paris in 1985, Colladant began playing the cello at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she received her diploma with honors in 2007. Colladant's early career was marked by a series of impressive performances and awards. In 2005, she won first prize at the International Cello Competition in Liezen, Austria, and in 2006 she was awarded the Prix de la Fondation Cziffra, which recognizes outstanding young musicians in France. She is also a founding member of the Trio Karénine, which she formed in 2009 with pianist Paloma Kouider and violinist Fanny Robilliard.
