Anna Hlavenková is a Czech classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist, composer, and educator. Born on May 28, 1988, in Prague, Czech Republic, Hlavenková showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She was a prodigious talent and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional musical abilities. Hlavenková's parents were both musicians, and they encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. She attended the Prague Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue Ivan Klánský. She later went on to study at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she earned a Master's degree in piano performance. Throughout her career, Hlavenková has been recognized for her exceptional talent and has won numerous awards and accolades. In 2006, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Brno, Czech Republic. She also won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Pinerolo, Italy, in 2008. Hlavenková has performed extensively throughout Europe and Asia, and has collaborated with some of the world's most renowned musicians. She has performed with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. She has also performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition to her work as a performer, Hlavenková is also an accomplished composer. She has written numerous pieces for piano, as well as chamber music and orchestral works. Her compositions have been performed by some of the world's leading musicians and have been featured at international music festivals. Hlavenková is also a dedicated educator and has taught piano at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She is passionate about sharing her love of music with others and has worked with young musicians to help them develop their skills and achieve their musical goals. One of the highlights of Hlavenková's career was her performance at the 2012 Prague Spring International Music Festival. She performed a solo recital, which was widely praised for its technical brilliance and emotional depth. The performance was broadcast live on Czech Television and was viewed by millions of people around the world. Hlavenková's talent and dedication to her craft have earned her numerous awards and honors. In 2013, she was awarded the prestigious Thalia Award for her contributions to Czech culture. She was also named a laureate of the Czech Music Council's Young Artist Award in 2014. Despite her many accomplishments, Hlavenková remains humble and dedicated to her craft. She continues to perform, compose, and teach, and is committed to sharing her love of music with others.
