Born in 1987 in the small town of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, Nisbeth grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to classical music from a young age. Her mother was a pianist and her father played the trumpet, and they both encouraged Nisbeth to pursue music as a career. Nisbeth began playing the viola at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and later at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where she received her Master's degree in 2013. During her studies, Nisbeth had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned violists in the world, including Tabea Zimmermann and Nobuko Imai. Nisbeth's career as a professional musician began to take off in the early 2010s, when she won several prestigious awards and competitions.
