Born in London in 1985, Aldridge grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She attended the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned mezzo-soprano Della Jones. Aldridge's career began to take off in the early 2010s, when she began performing with some of the UK's most prestigious opera companies. In 2011, she made her debut with English National Opera in a production of Benjamin Britten's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The following year, she performed the role of Mercedes in a production of Georges Bizet's "Carmen" with Welsh National Opera. In 2013, Aldridge made her debut at the Royal Opera House in London, performing the role of the Second Lady in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "The Magic Flute." She has since returned to the Royal Opera House on several occasions, performing in productions of Richard Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde" and Giuseppe Verdi's "La traviata." Aldridge has also performed with a number of other opera companies throughout the UK and Europe. In 2014, she made her debut with Scottish Opera in a production of Gioachino Rossini's "The Barber of Seville." She has also performed with Opera North, Opera Holland Park, and the Buxton International Festival. In addition to her work in opera, Aldridge is also a sought-after concert performer.
