Maria Marcucci was born on May 12, 1985, in Florence, Italy. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her father being a renowned pianist and her mother a soprano. From a young age, Maria showed a natural talent for music and began studying the piano at the age of four. As she grew older, Maria's passion for music only intensified, and she began to explore other instruments, including the violin and cello. She also began to study composition and music theory, and by the age of 16, she had already composed several pieces of her own. In 2003, Maria was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica Luigi Cherubini in Florence, where she studied piano performance under the guidance of Maestro Carlo Palese. In 2010, she was awarded the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, cementing her status as one of the world's leading classical musicians.
