Her parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. At the age of five, Rajung Yang began taking piano lessons, and by the age of ten, she had already started performing in public. Rajung Yang's talent was evident from an early age, and she quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skills. She won several local and national competitions, including the prestigious Korean National Music Competition. Her success in these competitions earned her a scholarship to study at the Juilliard School in New York City.
