Birth:1981 in Richmond, VAKate Lindsey is a renowned mezzo-soprano who has captivated audiences around the world with her powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. Born on September 16, 1979, in Richmond, Virginia, Lindsey grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. Her parents were both professional musicians, and her father was a conductor and music director. Lindsey attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied with renowned mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne. She also studied at the Houston Grand Opera Studio and the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.
