He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Steinlucht was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Steinlucht's talent was quickly recognized, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He won his first competition at the age of eight and went on to win numerous awards throughout his childhood and teenage years. In 2003, Steinlucht was accepted into the Moscow Conservatory, one of the most prestigious music schools in Russia. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Professor Sergei Dorensky. During his time at the conservatory, Steinlucht won several competitions and performed in numerous concerts, both as a soloist and as part of an ensemble. After graduating from the conservatory in 2008, Steinlucht continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany. He studied under the guidance of Professor Gerhard Oppitz, one of the most respected pianists and teachers in Europe. During his time in Munich, Steinlucht continued to perform in concerts and competitions, winning several awards and gaining recognition as a rising star in the classical music world. In 2012, Steinlucht made his debut at the Berlin Philharmonic, one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world. He performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the "Emperor" concerto, with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Sir Simon Rattle. The performance was a huge success, and Steinlucht received a standing ovation from the audience. Since then, Steinlucht has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. He has also performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In addition to his performances as a soloist, Steinlucht is also an accomplished chamber musician. He has collaborated with many of the world's leading musicians, including violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and pianist Lang Lang. Steinlucht's repertoire is vast and includes works by many of the great composers, including Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Sergei Rachmaninoff, and has been praised for his ability to capture the emotional depth and complexity of Rachmaninoff's music. Throughout his career, Steinlucht has won numerous awards and accolades. In 2014, he was awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians and provides financial support to help them develop their careers. He has also been awarded the Arthur Rubinstein Prize, the International Tchaikovsky Competition, and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Despite his success, Steinlucht remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He continues to practice for several hours a day and is constantly seeking to improve his technique and interpretation.
