Alba Roca is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born in Barcelona, Spain, on May 12, 1985, Alba showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged her to pursue her passion for music, and she soon began taking lessons from a local music teacher. Alba's talent and dedication to music quickly became apparent, and she began participating in local music competitions. At the age of 12, she won first prize in the Barcelona Piano Competition, which marked the beginning of her successful career as a classical musician. After completing her studies at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, Alba moved to Vienna, Austria, to further her education in music. She enrolled at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor Paul Badura-Skoda. During her time in Vienna, Alba participated in several international music competitions and won numerous awards. In 2006, she won first prize in the International Piano Competition in San Sebastian, Spain, and in 2008, she won the prestigious International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. In 2009, she made her debut at the Vienna Konzerthaus, where she performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. The performance was a huge success, and Alba received critical acclaim for her interpretation of the piece. Over the years, Alba has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. She has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, and Simon Rattle. In addition to her performances, Alba is also a dedicated music educator.
