Born in Budapest in 1985, Kállai showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with some of Hungary's most renowned piano teachers. As a young musician, Kállai participated in numerous competitions and festivals, winning several awards and accolades along the way. In 2003, she was awarded first prize at the National Piano Competition in Hungary, and in 2005, she won the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Rome. These early successes helped to establish Kállai as a rising star in the classical music world, and she soon began to receive invitations to perform at major venues and festivals around the world. One of Kállai's most notable performances came in 2007, when she was invited to perform at the prestigious Chopin Festival in Warsaw, Poland.
