Adrianne Pieczonka is a Canadian soprano who has established herself as one of the leading classical music artists of her generation. Born on August 2, 1963, in Toronto, Canada, Pieczonka grew up in a musical family and began singing at a young age. She studied at the University of Toronto and the Banff Centre for the Arts before embarking on a successful career as an opera singer. Pieczonka made her professional debut in 1988 as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni with the Canadian Opera Company.
