Jan Riedlbauch was born on May 12, 1985, in Prague, Czech Republic. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Jan showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Jan's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly progressed, winning his first competition at the age of six. Jan continued to excel in his studies and was accepted into the Prague Conservatory at the age of 14. During his time at the conservatory, Jan studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue Ivan Klánský. He also had the opportunity to perform in numerous concerts and competitions, winning several awards and accolades. In 2004, Jan won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Prague, cementing his reputation as a rising star in the classical music world. After completing his studies at the conservatory, Jan went on to study at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he earned his master's degree in piano performance. He continued to perform in concerts and competitions, winning several more awards, including first prize at the International Piano Competition in Brno in 2008. Jan's talent and dedication to his craft caught the attention of several prominent musicians and conductors, and he was invited to perform with orchestras across Europe. In 2010, he made his debut with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Jan was praised for his technical skill and musicality. Over the years, Jan has performed with numerous orchestras, including the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his performances, Jan is also a dedicated teacher and mentor.
