Irmina Trynkos is a Polish-born violinist who has established herself as one of the most exciting and dynamic performers of her generation. Born in 1986 in the city of Gdansk, Trynkos began playing the violin at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She studied at the Gdansk Music Academy and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, Germany, where she received her Master's degree in 2011. Trynkos has won numerous awards and prizes throughout her career, including first prize at the 2009 International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany, and the 2010 International Violin Competition in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has also been a finalist in several other prestigious competitions, including the 2011 International Violin Competition in Indianapolis, USA, and the 2012 International Violin Competition in Montreal, Canada. Trynkos has performed as a soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina. She has also given recitals and chamber music performances in major concert halls and festivals around the world, including the Wigmore Hall in London, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Salzburg Festival, and the Ravinia Festival in Chicago. One of Trynkos' most notable performances was her debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in 2012, where she performed the Sibelius Violin Concerto under the baton of Charles Dutoit. The performance was widely praised for its technical brilliance and emotional depth, and cemented Trynkos' reputation as a rising star in the classical music world.
