Marjolaine Goulet is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Goulet showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Goulet's musical journey began with her enrollment in the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, where she studied piano under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Marc Durand. She completed her studies at the conservatory with honors and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree at the Université de Montréal. During her studies, Goulet participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the first prize at the Canadian Music Competition in 2002 and the first prize at the Concours de musique du Canada in 2004. These achievements helped to establish her as a rising star in the world of classical music. After completing her Bachelor's degree, Goulet continued her studies at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where she earned a Master of Music degree in piano performance. During her time at Juilliard, Goulet had the opportunity to study under the guidance of renowned pianists such as Emanuel Ax, Yoheved Kaplinsky, and Robert McDonald. Goulet's talent and hard work paid off when she won the Juilliard Concerto Competition in 2009, which gave her the opportunity to perform with the Juilliard Orchestra at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.
