Timur's musical journey began at the Almaty Special Music School, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Tamara Popovich. He later continued his studies at the Kazakh National Conservatory, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During his time at the conservatory, Timur participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Astana, Kazakhstan, and the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Tbilisi, Georgia. These achievements helped him gain recognition as a talented pianist and opened doors for him to perform in various countries around the world. In 2008, Timur moved to the United States to further his studies at the University of North Texas, where he earned his Doctorate in Piano Performance. During his time at the university, he was awarded the prestigious Presser Graduate Music Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in music performance and education. Timur's career as a concert pianist began to take off after he won the First Prize at the 2010 Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition in New York City. This achievement led to numerous invitations to perform at prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. In addition to his solo performances, Timur has also collaborated with various orchestras, including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine. He has also performed with renowned conductors, including Jaap van Zweden, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, and Vladimir Spivakov.
