Born on May 28, 1987, in Tokyo, Japan, Sophie-Mayuko Vetter was raised in a family of musicians. Her father was a pianist, and her mother was a violinist. From a young age, Sophie-Mayuko Vetter was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four.
