Evan Samuels is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in New York City, Evan showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion. Evan's musical journey began with his enrollment in the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky. He continued his studies at the Juilliard School, where he earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. Evan then went on to pursue his Master of Music degree at the Yale School of Music, where he studied with Boris Berman. Throughout his career, Evan has received numerous awards and accolades for his exceptional talent and dedication to music. In 2005, he was awarded the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship, which provided him with financial support to continue his studies at the Juilliard School. In 2007, he was awarded the William Petschek Piano Debut Recital Award, which allowed him to make his debut recital at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. Evan's performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. He has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
