Daniel Cohen is a renowned conductor and violinist who has made a significant impact on the classical music scene. Born in Israel in 1985, Cohen began playing the violin at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for music. He went on to study at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he was mentored by renowned violinist Isaac Stern. Cohen's early career was marked by a series of impressive accomplishments. In 2005, he won first prize at the Aviv Competition, one of Israel's most prestigious music competitions. He went on to perform as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, among others. Cohen's conducting career has been marked by a series of impressive performances and collaborations. In 2014, he conducted the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, which was broadcast live on Israeli television. He has also conducted the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestre de Paris, among others. One of Cohen's most notable collaborations was with the world-renowned pianist Martha Argerich. In 2015, he conducted Argerich and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, which was met with critical acclaim.
