She was born in London, England, in 1952, and grew up in a family that was passionate about music. Her father was a professional musician, and her mother was a music teacher. From a young age, Judith showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Judith's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking piano lessons and quickly developed a love for classical music. She also showed an interest in the flute and began taking lessons when she was eight years old.
