Born on May 15, 1985, in Kiev, Ukraine, Krimetz showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Krimetz's early years were spent studying music at the Kiev Special Music School for Gifted Children. He received rigorous training in piano performance, music theory, and composition. His exceptional talent and dedication to music earned him numerous awards and accolades during his formative years. In 2003, Krimetz was accepted into the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, where he continued his studies in piano performance. He received his Bachelor's degree in 2008 and went on to pursue a Master's degree in piano performance at the same institution. During his time at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, Krimetz had the opportunity to perform in numerous concerts and competitions. He won several awards, including the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Kiev in 2006 and the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Moscow in 2008. After completing his Master's degree, Krimetz moved to the United States to further his studies in music. He enrolled in the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Boris Slutsky. Krimetz's time at the Peabody Institute was marked by numerous achievements and accolades. He won the Yale Gordon Concerto Competition in 2010, which gave him the opportunity to perform with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He also won the Peabody Concerto Competition in 2011, which led to a performance with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his success in competitions, Krimetz also performed in numerous concerts and recitals during his time at the Peabody Institute. He was praised for his technical proficiency, musicality, and emotional depth in his performances. After completing his studies at the Peabody Institute, Krimetz embarked on a career as a professional pianist. He has performed in numerous concerts and recitals in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has collaborated with renowned conductors and orchestras, including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra.
