Margaret Jane Wray is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of opera. She was born on December 17, 1965, in Toronto, Canada, to a family of musicians. Her father was a pianist, and her mother was a singer, which exposed her to music at a young age. Wray began her musical journey by studying piano and voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She later pursued her undergraduate studies in music at the University of Toronto, where she majored in voice. After completing her undergraduate studies, Wray went on to pursue a Master of Music degree in voice at the Juilliard School in New York City.
