Marinus Voorberg was a Dutch classical music artist who was born on May 12, 1985, in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional musicians who played in the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. From a young age, Marinus showed a keen interest in music, and he began playing the piano at the age of four. Marinus received his early music education at the Rotterdam Conservatory, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and composer, Jan Wijn. He later went on to study at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. Throughout his career, Marinus has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and Carnegie Hall in New York. He has also performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. One of the highlights of Marinus's career was his performance at the 2010 International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. He was awarded first prize in the competition, which is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world.
