His father was a renowned cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Charles-Andre showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Charles-Andre began his musical education at the age of four, when he started taking piano lessons from his mother. He quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument, and by the age of six, he was already performing in public. At the age of eight, he gave his first solo recital, which was met with critical acclaim. In 1995, Charles-Andre's family moved to London, where he continued his musical education at the Royal Academy of Music.
