Ode showed an interest in music at a young age and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was encouraged by his parents, who recognized his talent and enrolled him in music lessons. Ode's passion for music continued to grow, and he began to excel in his studies. He attended the MUSON School of Music in Lagos, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and composer, Emeka Nwokedi. Ode's talent was evident, and he quickly became one of the school's top students. In 2010, Ode was awarded a scholarship to attend the Royal College of Music in London, England. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Vanessa Latarche. Ode's time at the Royal College of Music was a turning point in his career. He was exposed to a new level of musical excellence and was able to refine his skills as a pianist and composer. During his time at the Royal College of Music, Ode participated in numerous competitions and performances. He won the prestigious Chappell Medal Piano Competition in 2012, which is awarded to the most outstanding pianist at the Royal College of Music. He also performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms in 2013. After completing his studies at the Royal College of Music, Ode continued to perform and compose music. He has performed in numerous concerts and recitals in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and other parts of the world. He has also composed music for film and television, including the score for the Nigerian film, "The Meeting." In addition to his performances and compositions, Ode is also a dedicated music educator. He has taught piano and music theory at the MUSON School of Music and the Royal College of Music Junior Department. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and love of music with others and inspiring the next generation of musicians. Ode's talent and dedication to music have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. In addition to the Chappell Medal Piano Competition, he has won the MUSON Festival Piano Competition and the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship.
