Born on August 8, 1972, in New York City, Antoine grew up in a family of musicians. His father, a violinist, and his mother, a pianist, were both accomplished musicians who instilled in him a love for music from a young age. Antoine began playing the violin at the age of four and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. He studied under some of the best violin teachers in the country, including Dorothy DeLay and Itzhak Perlman. By the time he was a teenager, Antoine had already performed with several orchestras and had won numerous awards for his playing. In 1990, Antoine was accepted into the Juilliard School of Music, where he continued to hone his skills as a violinist. While at Juilliard, he had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned musicians in the world, including Yo-Yo Ma and Isaac Stern. He graduated from Juilliard in 1994 with a Bachelor of Music degree. After graduating from Juilliard, Antoine began his professional career as a violinist. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile musician, and he was soon in demand as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. One of Antoine's most memorable performances was his solo performance with the New York Philharmonic in 2001. He played the violin concerto by Samuel Barber, and his performance was met with a standing ovation from the audience. The New York Times praised his playing, saying that he "brought a rare combination of technical brilliance and emotional depth to the piece." Antoine has also been recognized for his work as a chamber musician.
