Raphaël Feuillâtre is a French classical guitarist who has gained international recognition for his exceptional talent and virtuosity. Born on May 14, 1996, in Paris, France, Feuillâtre grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to classical music from a young age. His father, a guitarist himself, introduced him to the instrument when he was just five years old, and Feuillâtre quickly developed a passion for it. Feuillâtre began his formal music education at the age of seven, studying under the guidance of his father. He later went on to study with renowned guitarists such as Judicaël Perroy and Roland Dyens. Feuillâtre's talent was evident from an early age, and he quickly began to make a name for himself in the classical music world. In 2014, Feuillâtre won first prize at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, which is considered one of the most prestigious guitar competitions in the world. This win catapulted him to international fame and opened up numerous opportunities for him to perform at major concert halls and festivals around the world. Feuillâtre has since performed at some of the most renowned concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has also been invited to perform at major festivals such as the Festival International de Guitarra de Morelia in Mexico and the Festival de Guitare de Paris. In addition to his solo performances, Feuillâtre has also collaborated with other musicians and ensembles. He has performed with the Orchestre National de Lorraine, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, among others. Feuillâtre's repertoire is diverse and includes works by some of the most renowned composers in the classical music world, such as Bach, Scarlatti, and Paganini. He is also known for his interpretations of contemporary works, including pieces by Leo Brouwer and Roland Dyens. Feuillâtre's talent and dedication to his craft have earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
