The RTV Symphony Orchestra is a renowned classical music ensemble based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The orchestra was founded in 1929 as the Radio Ljubljana Symphony Orchestra, and has since become one of the most respected orchestras in Europe. The orchestra's early years were marked by a series of notable conductors, including Anton Nanut, who served as the orchestra's music director from 1981 to 2000. Under Nanut's leadership, the orchestra gained a reputation for its high-quality performances and innovative programming.
