Rane Moore is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of contemporary music. Born in 1981 in the United States, Moore grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. Her father was a jazz musician, and her mother was a classical pianist, which gave her a unique perspective on music. Moore began playing the clarinet at the age of nine and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the New England Conservatory of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance. She then went on to pursue a Master of Music degree at the University of Michigan, where she studied with renowned clarinetist Fred Ormand.
