Henrik Dam Thomsen is a Danish classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a cellist and conductor. Born on May 22, 1975, in Copenhagen, Denmark, Thomsen grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a cellist, and his mother was a pianist. Thomsen started playing the cello at the age of six and showed a natural talent for the instrument.
