In 1968, Louise was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires. After graduating from the academy in 1972, Louise began her professional career as a pianist. One of Louise's most significant performances was at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 1978. She performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the "Emperor Concerto," with the London Symphony Orchestra.
