Markus Lehtinen is a Finnish classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and sensitive interpretations of classical repertoire. Born on May 15, 1985, in Helsinki, Finland, Lehtinen showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with some of the most renowned piano teachers in Finland. Lehtinen's early training was focused on the classical repertoire, and he quickly developed a deep understanding of the music of composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. He also showed a particular affinity for the music of Chopin, and his performances of Chopin's works have become a hallmark of his career.
