Ben Glassberg is a young and talented conductor who has made a name for himself in the classical music world. Born in London in 1993, Glassberg showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. He later took up the trumpet and joined the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, where he discovered his passion for conducting. Glassberg went on to study at the University of Cambridge, where he was awarded a scholarship to study music. During his time at Cambridge, he conducted the university orchestra and worked with a number of professional orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. After graduating from Cambridge, Glassberg went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was awarded a scholarship to study conducting. He also worked as an assistant conductor with a number of orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. In 2015, Glassberg was appointed as the assistant conductor of the Glyndebourne Festival Opera, one of the most prestigious opera companies in the world. He quickly made a name for himself as a talented and dynamic conductor, and was soon in demand with other opera companies and orchestras. One of Glassberg's most notable performances was his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017. He conducted a program of works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky, and received rave reviews for his energetic and passionate conducting style. The following year, he made his debut with the Royal Opera House in London, conducting a production of Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro."
