Born on May 12, 1965, in Munich, Germany, Scherler showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Scherler's musical education began at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, where she studied piano and music theory. She later attended the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, where she received a degree in piano performance. During her time in Vienna, Scherler had the opportunity to study with some of the most renowned pianists of the time, including Paul Badura-Skoda and Jörg Demus. After completing her studies, Scherler began performing professionally, and quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile pianist. She has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Scherler's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, including Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin.
