The Netherlands Radio Orchestra is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 1945. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious orchestras in the Netherlands, and has a long history of excellence in performance and recording. The orchestra was originally established as the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, and was created to provide high-quality classical music programming for the Dutch public.
