He was born on 12th May 1975 in Belgrade, Serbia. From a young age, Ratko showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. He began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly showed exceptional talent. Ratko's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Music School "Mokranjac" in Belgrade. He studied under the guidance of Professor Ljubica Stojanovic, who recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Ratko's dedication and hard work paid off, and he graduated with honors from the Music School "Mokranjac." After completing his studies, Ratko continued his education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Arbo Valdma. He graduated with a degree in piano performance and continued his studies at the same faculty, where he earned a master's degree in piano performance. Ratko's talent and dedication to music soon caught the attention of the music world, and he began performing at various concerts and festivals. He made his debut performance at the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in 1996, where he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. The performance was a huge success, and Ratko received critical acclaim for his exceptional performance. Over the years, Ratko has performed at various concerts and festivals around the world, including the International Piano Festival in Bled, Slovenia, the International Piano Festival in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and the International Piano Festival in Santander, Spain. He has also performed with various orchestras, including the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra. Ratko's exceptional talent and dedication to music have earned him numerous awards and accolades. In 1998, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Belgrade, and in 2000, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Dubrovnik. He has also won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain, and the International Piano Competition in Bled, Slovenia. In addition to his performances, Ratko is also a dedicated music educator. He has taught at various music schools and universities, including the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, the Music School "Mokranjac," and the Music Academy in Novi Sad. He is known for his exceptional teaching skills and has trained many young musicians who have gone on to become successful performers. Ratko's dedication to music and his exceptional talent have made him one of the most respected classical music artists in the world.
