He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Kamnitzer was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Kamnitzer's talent was evident from a young age, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional musical abilities and was invited to perform at various concerts and events. At the age of ten, Kamnitzer was accepted into the prestigious Vienna Conservatory, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Maria Schmidt. During his time at the conservatory, Kamnitzer honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2003, Kamnitzer graduated from the Vienna Conservatory with top honors and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. At Juilliard, Kamnitzer studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Kamnitzer continued to excel and was awarded numerous accolades for his performances. In 2007, he won the prestigious Gina Bachauer Piano Competition, which is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. This win catapulted Kamnitzer to international fame, and he began receiving invitations to perform at major concert halls around the world. Kamnitzer's performances were always highly anticipated, and he quickly gained a reputation for his exceptional technical skills and musicality. He was known for his ability to bring out the nuances and emotions in each piece he played, and his performances were always deeply moving. In 2010, Kamnitzer was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York City, which is considered one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.
