Alexander van Wijnkoop was born on May 15, 1985, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He was born into a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional classical musicians. His father was a renowned cellist, and his mother was a pianist. Alexander grew up surrounded by music, and he started playing the piano at a very young age. Alexander's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He started taking piano lessons at the age of five, and by the time he was ten, he was already performing in public.
