He received his formal music education at the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in Venice, where he studied under the guidance of some of the most prominent music teachers of the time. Ricco's exceptional talent and dedication to music earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. In 1955, Ricco made his debut as a solo pianist at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. The performance was a resounding success, and it marked the beginning of Ricco's illustrious career as a classical music artist.
