Marco Tamayo is a world-renowned classical guitarist who has captivated audiences with his virtuosic performances and innovative interpretations of classical guitar repertoire. Born in Havana, Cuba in 1964, Tamayo began his musical journey at a young age, studying piano and guitar with his father, a respected musician and composer. Tamayo's talent was evident from an early age, and he quickly gained recognition as a prodigy in the Cuban music scene. He went on to study at the National School of Art in Havana, where he honed his skills under the guidance of some of the most respected guitar teachers in the country.
