She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Texas and has studied with renowned pianists such as Adam Wodnicki and Joseph Banowetz. Dr. Heather Combet is an equally talented flutist who has performed with numerous orchestras and ensembles throughout the United States. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of North Texas and has studied with renowned flutists such as Mary Karen Clardy and Terri Sundberg. The Carlock-Combet Duo was founded in 2008 when Dr. Carlock and Dr. Combet met while studying at the University of North Texas. They quickly discovered a shared passion for chamber music and began performing together regularly. Their unique blend of piano and flute has been praised by audiences and critics alike, and they have become known for their dynamic and engaging performances.
