Born on August 12, 1975, in Boston, Massachusetts, Kendra showed an early interest in music and began singing at a young age. Her parents, both music enthusiasts, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Kendra's formal music education began at the age of six when she started taking piano lessons. She quickly developed a passion for classical music and began studying voice at the age of ten. Her vocal coach, impressed by her natural talent, recommended that she audition for the Boston Children's Chorus. Kendra was accepted into the chorus and began performing in various concerts and events throughout the city. As Kendra's talent continued to grow, she decided to pursue a degree in music.
