From a young age, Henigman showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. Henigman's parents recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She attended the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division, where she studied piano with Yoheved Kaplinsky. Henigman continued her education at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where she studied with Robert McDonald. Throughout her career, Henigman has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2010, she won the Juilliard School's Pre-College Concerto Competition, which led to her performing with the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony Orchestra. In 2012, she won the Philadelphia Orchestra's Greenfield Student Competition, which led to her performing with the orchestra at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Henigman has also been a finalist in several prestigious competitions, including the International Keyboard Institute and Festival's Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Scholarship Competition and the Hilton Head International Piano Competition. Henigman has performed in some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She has also performed internationally, including in Italy, France, and Japan. One of Henigman's most notable performances was her debut recital at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in 2014. The program included works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Ravel. The New York Times praised Henigman's performance, stating that she "played with a sense of authority and a depth of feeling that belied her youth."
