She began taking piano lessons with renowned pianist and teacher, Martha Argerich, at the age of six. Argerich quickly recognized Flissler's potential and became her mentor and guide throughout her musical career. She made her debut with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of ten, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major.
