Andrea McArdle is a renowned American actress and singer, best known for her work in musical theatre. Born on November 5, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, McArdle grew up in a family of performers. Her mother was a singer, and her father was a comedian. From a young age, McArdle showed a keen interest in music and theatre, and her parents encouraged her to pursue her passion. McArdle's first major breakthrough came in 1977 when she was cast as the lead in the Broadway production of "Annie."
