Jean-Baptiste Dumora is a French classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and sensitive interpretations of classical repertoire. Born on May 22, 1985, in Toulouse, France, Dumora showed an early aptitude for music and began studying piano at the age of six. Dumora's talent was quickly recognized by his teachers, and he began to win awards and competitions at a young age. In 1997, he won first prize in the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe competition, and in 1999, he was awarded the Grand Prix du Concours International de Piano de Lagny-sur-Marne. The duo has recorded several albums together, including a 2016 release on the Warner Classics label featuring works by Ravel, Debussy, and Fauré.
