Born on May 12, 1985, in London, England, Balkwill showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged him to pursue his passion for music, and he soon began taking formal lessons. Balkwill's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly progressed through the ranks. He won his first music competition at the age of eight and went on to win several more in the following years. His exceptional talent and hard work earned him a scholarship to the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under some of the most renowned music teachers in the world. During his time at the Royal Academy of Music, Balkwill honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. He was particularly drawn to the works of Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin, and spent countless hours studying their compositions. His dedication paid off, and he graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Music degree. After completing his studies, Balkwill began performing professionally, and quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile musician. He performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
