Guarino's early years were spent studying classical piano under the guidance of renowned Italian pianist, Carlo Bruno. He quickly developed a reputation as a prodigy, winning several local competitions and earning praise from his teachers and peers. At the age of 14, Guarino was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio di Musica San Pietro a Majella in Naples, where he continued his studies under the tutelage of Maestro Bruno. He quickly gained recognition for his virtuosic piano playing and his ability to interpret complex classical works with ease. In 2007, Guarino made his debut as a soloist with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5.
