Murat Coskun is a renowned percussionist and composer in the world of classical music. Born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1972, Coskun grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. Coskun began his musical training at the age of six, studying the darbuka, a traditional Turkish drum. One of Coskun's most notable performances was at the 2006 Istanbul Jazz Festival, where he performed with the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra.
