August Messthaler was a renowned classical music artist who was born on June 12, 1950, in Vienna, Austria. He was the youngest of three children born to a family of musicians. His father was a violinist, and his mother was a pianist. August showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. August's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his mother and later studied with several renowned pianists in Vienna. August's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly gained recognition as a prodigy. In 1965, August made his debut as a soloist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. He was only 15 years old at the time, and his performance was met with critical acclaim. This performance marked the beginning of August's career as a concert pianist. Over the next few years, August continued to perform with various orchestras and gained a reputation as one of the most talented pianists of his generation. He won several awards and competitions, including the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1970. August's career reached new heights in the 1970s and 1980s when he began performing with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra. He also performed at major music festivals, including the Salzburg Festival and the Edinburgh International Festival.
